The old walled city is just a short walk from the port. Saint-Malo Intra-Muros is an entire city enclosed within granite ramparts, with cobblestone streets, stone houses and breathtaking views over the sea.
A walk along the ramparts is a must: in under an hour, you can circle the entire old town and take in sweeping views of the bay, the rocky islets and the open sea. At low tide, you can even walk out to the Grand Bé islet, just off the city walls.
